Solidarity care assists and helps you to find a job, make use of professional network to locate and communicate with employers. Once a job is found, we assist in maintaining employment and help employees keep the job.
We are here to empower you in maintaining your employment and keep supporting you if you secured your job prior to becoming NDIS participants. By accessing workplace assistance, you can have support to successfully obtain or retain employment in the open or supported labor market. Along with helping find work, our employment support helps you develop critical skills necessary to succeed in the modern economy, for example, resume writing and interview skills, among others.
Assistance with Life Stage Transition
The professional team at Solidarity Care understand that people require assistance because life is a transition process from one step to another. That’s why we are committed to providing support coordination for our clients and their families to plan and get ready for this transition, including identification of obstacles and opportunities for your success. Our program includes short and/or long-term support based on the assistance to be living at home, community participation and
supporting you to coordinate your own support.
Assistance with Daily Personal Activities
Our friendly and passionate team assist our clients with daily personal activities that you cannot perform independently due to a disability. These activities include daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and eating.
Assistance with Travel and Transport
Do you wish to go out to fulfil your needs but don’t know how? Don’t worry.
The dedicated team at Solidarity Care will assist you accomplish your goal. Whether you want to use public transport or private cars, our team is here to with. Our Support Workers with full driver’s license and other road requirements are here to travel with you wherever you want to go (appointment, groceries, in the community, …).

Assistance with Daily Tasks/Shared Living
The service includes SIL (supported independent living), MTA, ILO, and STA.
Supported Independent Living (SIL) – This set of support help with, or supervision of, tasks of daily life in a shared living environment. The support is done 24h/7 days.
Short Term Accommodation (STA) – Short Term Accommodation, including respite, is funding for support and accommodation for a short time away from a participant usual home. It covers the cost of their care and accommodation for a period of up to 14 days at any one time.
Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) – this service is provided somewhere to live if the participants can’t move into their long-term homes yet because their disability supports are not ready. The participant must be in the process of moving into a long-term home.
Individual Living Options (ILO) – it is an arrangement that focus on the individual. They include Living Alone, Co-Residency, Host Arrangements and Living Together options.

Development of Life skills
Solidarity Care supports clients to build everyday life skills. This is done step by step focusing on practical skills to be used now or later. This allows you to be more independent and become you. Trained with daily skills like meal preparation, personal presentation, independent living
skills and so on will boost greatly because you don’t need support progressively while doing daily activities.
Assistance with Household Tasks
Our team understands how challenging it is to manage household tasks for some people. That’s why our trained and experienced care providers are dedicated to supporting our clients to maintain their homes and live safely.
The household task support at Solidarity Care includes assistance with household chores such as cleaning, meal preparation and laundry. Our staff work step by step with you to understand your
needs and choices to help you achieve your goal.
Participation in the Community
We already know that there are so many places you can go not just for fun only also for relaxing.
It is amazing for you to be in an environment that allows you to feel like any other person. At Solidarity Care, the assistance with social and Community Participation allows you to attend personal development classes, go for an outing or a holiday, becoming a member of any social
group.
Specialised Supported Employment
Solidarity care supports with a day-to-day assistance in the workplace to maintain your employment. Our team provides capacity building employment support. Apart from maintaining your employment, our team is ready to help you find one if you don’t have it by providing you
with the necessary requirements such as resume, cover letter and so on.
Group and Centre-Based Activities
Solidarity Care aims that client, through the group and Centre-based activities to socialize with friends. The dedicated team at Solidarity Care engages their clients in many social events including mentoring, peer support, individual skill development, and decision making to support people to make transitions on their terms and in a way that meets their goals and aspirations.
